How To Remove PIN-Code (Screen Lock) Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (Factory Reset)

NOTE: In this video I will show how to remove PIN-Code (and any other screen lock like pattern, password or signature) but this requires a factory reset (in this video I will show how to do a factory reset). By doing a factory reset ALL DATA ON YOUR DEVICE WILL BE LOST.

Hello Everybody,

In this video I will show how to remove the PIN-Code (or any other screen lock like pattern, password or signature) of your Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.

This works for all screen lock types (PIN-Code, Pattern, Password, and Signature) however if it is a pattern lock and you forgot your pattern you can probably remove the pattern using your Google-Account (instead of doing a factory reset) which will not remove the data on your phone. If it is a pattern lock and you forgot your pattern, just draw your pattern wrong 5 times. If it show a message that you should try it again in 30 seconds just tap on OK and then there should appear a Forgot Pattern button. Tap on the Forgot Pattern button and your gmail address and password and tap on ''Sign In''. Now the pattern should be removed and you should be able to disable screen lock or set up a new pattern. If the ''Forgot Pattern (Google-account)'' option does not appear there should also be a option to use your Backup PIN. If you know your reserve pin just draw your pattern wrong 5 times, click OK, tap on the ''Backup PIN'' button and enter your Backup PIN.
However the ''Forgot Pattern (Google-account)'' and ''Reserve PIN'' option only works for a pattern screen lock.

If you have another screen lock you should do a factory reset and all data will be lost.

Tutorial how to remove Screen Lock by doing a factory reset:
1. Turn off the device
2. Press and hold volume up + home button + power button
3. Select ''wipe data / factory reset'' with the volume buttons and confirm it with the power button
4.Select ''reboot system now'' and confirm it with the power buttons.
5.Wait until it starts (it can take a while for the first time).

Now you can set up the device and it no longer has a PIN-Code/Screen Lock.
